Hi I was wondering if there was a good source that anyone knew of for programming tutorials for the Id Tech III (Quake III) engine? Thanks.

You could start by looking up (ie: google) Quake 3 modding; there's quite a few communities who'll provide a wealth of information and tutorials.
Well I tried google but all it pulled up was that: modding. I mean setting up the id tech III engine, programming with it, that stuff. I know there's alot you can do with mods. I want to use the engine from scratch.
You could try looking up soldier of fortune 2 programming tutorials it is based around that engine and they released the source as part of its SDK also, also several mod authors have released source code.
Code3Arena. QuakeDev.com. Not much there, but this could be useful. AiGameDev.com went over the AI here.

There were a couple other good sites, but I can't find them atm (I spent a few months studying the engine a couple years ago).

Poke around. IMO it's a great way to learn.
