Hi Just wanted to see if anyone had implemented the caustics rendering technique described here: http://graphics.cs.ucf.edu/caustics/ They produce some really nice results and achieve very high framerates (pictures and video on their website). It looks like it is conceptually somewhat similar to the shadow mapping technique. I am going to try to implement this using OpenGL and CG, but the paper doesn't really go into implementation details so there are a lot of gaps to fill in. Haven't seen any tutorials for it so far which surprises me. Anyone done this, found tutorials, or come across hurdles in the implementation? -Sveinn p.s. my first post on gamedev .. woohoo :) [Edited by - sveinn on June 1, 2009 2:38:33 AM]
