bezier curve showing up wrong. Utah Tea-pot control points.

Hello, I'm trying to draw the lid of the Utah tea pot thingy by rendering 2 bezier patches. The control points seem to be showing up correctly, but the rendering is, off. The tea pot lid (the actual 2 patches I'm rendering) looks like a lilly or some other flower. Is there anywhere I can get a set of control points just for the lid (a quarter of the lid really, I'm just re-rendering the other 3 quarters at different rotations to make the entire lid). I'm using this tutorial from NeHe for the bezier stuff here And the control points I have are here. (patch1 and patch2 are indices into array of the vertices)
