Hi all, The C code below describes my question better than I can with mere words!
/* texture.h */
typedef struct texture_s {
    const char *name;
    /* other stuff removed */
} texture_t;

/* ...elsewhere... */
extern void ReloadTexture( texture_t **texture ) {
    texture_t *temp = *texture;
    const char *name = texture->name;

    /* Do stuff with texture */

In ReloadTexture, how can I get the name of the texture without using the temporary texture_t pointer?

const char *name = (*texture)->name;

d'oh! Thanks for the answer! I was trying *(texture)->name... obvious now that I see it! Thanks again.
