Visual Studio Team Explorer question

Recommended Posts

Hi I have a generated code file in my project. It's generated every time by a Pre-Build Event. This file is added to the project, so that VS knows it should be compiled. I've uploaded my project to CodePlex using Visual Studio's Team Explorer. My problem is that the generated file is also uploaded. Is there a way to keep the generated file as a part of the project, but exclude it from check-ins? Zbyl

hello Zbychs,

i don't know how Visual Studio's Team Explorer works but i used Tortoise SVN , and what i did was , i went to the project's properties and change the output and the intermediate file output folder to a remote location on your hdd, so you have a clean folder only with your solution files inside.

Raxvan.
