Can a scene graph be stored in XML format?

Can a scene graph be stored in XML format? Well, actually, can I store any hierarchy structure (nodes, files, whatever) using xml format? Thanks.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Heh, seconded. XML is very over-used these days, and that while it's pretty bulky...but you can in fact store pretty much anything in XML format if you so please.
