how to generate 1/f noise?
Recently, I have to use 1/f noise to simulate wind. Will someone tell me how to generate 1/f noise? In fact 1/f^beta noise is correct but I dont know how to type out beta as superscript. Thank you in advance.
This looks like a fairly detailed page about noise generation: (Link)
There are some code samples quite a ways down the page.

I wonder how to create 1/f noise( also named pink noise or flicker noise) from Fourier transform or Perlin noise. What is the general step?
