I do appreciate help. I was only pointing out what I knew so they could help me out with the stuff I didn't.

You know, we can't scan your mind. All we know is what you write. Or where exactly did you appreciate help or our poor try to help?

  1. "i already knew all this." -> no
  2. "was hoping someone had found a grand unified theory and was just waiting for an opportunity to show it off in a thread." -> no
  3. "cuz that's basically what i need." -> no

Item 1 says exactly "I don't need the help you've given".
Item 2 says roughly "I am dissapointed about you others not being able to help me, but it seems your knowledge is too limited".
Item 3 says exactly "I don't need the help you've given".

Maybe you go down and ask your parents to teach you a bit of manners and politeness, or at least to tell you what that is. Come back when you're grown, kid.

I disagree with your analysis. I think this is more accurate:

Item 1 says "I am a troll"
Item 2 says "If there was any doubt about item 1, this confirms it"
Item 3 says "FEED ME"
