I forget how long ago I saw a thread on it but it was some guy asking about a programming language. Here is the details I remember. The OP said he was learning it and loving it even thought it was slow. He said it was recommended to him as his first programming language. Someone else said that the programming language was great for solving abstract problems that other programming languages couldnt. I think the programming language is some guys last name and it may have started with an H. I think the poster was using it to find prime numbers or something like that but was doing it in a unique way. I know this isnt much to work on but I deleted my bookmark to the wikipedia page about this programming language and I cant find the thread through forum search. Does anyone remember this post (it was maybe a week or two ago) or anyone know what language I am talking about?

I'm pretty sure you mean this thread. Oh yeah, and:

import Data.List (nubBy)

primes = nubBy (((> 1) . ) . gcd ) [2..]

;-)

Real World Haskell Free book that is also available in dead tree form. Haskell is good to know, though I can't condone terse, tricksy, 'clever' solutions like that.
