Im wondering how i would go about doing this in win32 with C++. Say i have an std::string that contains the full path for some file, whether it be an image, an mp3 or even a 3dsMax file. How do i go about opening it with its associated appliaction? So that i would be getting the same effect as double clicking an icon on your desktop. Ive been scrolling through MSDN, but have probaly missed something. Thanks.
