Hey! I''ve installed MSDN April 2001, only the VC++ components, on my computer. But everytime I search for something I get "insert MSDN April CD". Why?? I''ve installed it, it''s over 300mb! }+TITANIUM+{

If I remember correctly, you may have to install some more files for searching to work off the hard-drive. Try running setup again, and look for a component that says ''allows searching off hard-drive'' or the like, and make sure you''ve installed it.

Of course, if you''ve installed *all* components, then it beats me .

Sorry if I wasn''t any help, I''m working from memory .

Perhaps what''s happening is that it''s trying to search non-VC++ components. But I don''t know--I had a 2CD MSDN set and most of the information I ended up using was stored on the second disc.
