Realtive paths in Autodesk 3ds Max - exporting with realative paths

Is there any way to get 3ds max to use relative paths instead going to it's semi-absolute paths that it seems to use and call relative. What I'm looking to do is have a folder with my models and have sub-folders with the materials/textures. Then I want to be able to move the folder to another computer and still have 3ds max be able to find the textures without me having to add their location again.
