Hi, I am considering building a 64-bit computer that will run Windows 7, but I have a couple of questions... - Will it run Visual C++ 2008 Express? - If it does, will it allow me to compile for 32-bit? Thanks in advance for your assistance, Wibbs

Yes & yes.
And if you download the Windows SDK, and prepare to do some tweaking with the VC2008 registry settings, you can also build x64 projects.
Latest project: Sideways Racing on the iPad
I am currently running Visual Studio 2008 Professional under Windows 7 x64 with no issues. I have also run 2005 Pro and 2008 Express under Windows Vista x64. No problems there either.

EDIT: And as Codeka mentioned, you can compile Win32 applications with it. In fact, it produces 32-bit code by default. I haven't tried writing 64-bit applications as of yet.
