I didn't have time to read through the announcement earlier, now I have, it appears they have not fixed it.

Has anyone managed to install the Platform Update for Windows Vista required to use Direct3D 11? I've followed the instructions in the knowledgebase article and run the script but Windows Update doesn't find any available updates. Has the update not gone live yet?

Odd, it's still not showing up for me. Vista x64 Business.

Turns out SP2 wasn't installed (but wasn't showing up in Windows Update for some reason). Once I installed it the Platform Update showed up in Windows Update.

Had to install .NET 4.0 before it would let me install this on Win 7 RTM. Kind of odd, since .NET 4.0 is still in beta, as far as I can tell.
