OpenGL Polygon tessellation

I have a polygon defined in 2D which is basically a list of connected points - for example, a pentagon would be point A to B to C to D to E to A. I need to draw such a polygon in Direct3D. As I understand it, I need to 'tessellate' this polygons into triangles in order to draw it. OpenGL has such a tesselator, but as far as I'm aware, Direct3D doesn't. Can anyone point me towards some resources which may help me write my own? The tessellator wouldn't necessarily need to support 'holes' or overlapping polygons, but it would need to support concave polygons. Thanks!
