Kind of animations

Hi every body. I have a question about animation x there any way to use their key frames (that we create them in 3d Max) In directX? I want do something like FPS Creator ( this engine will use .X files that they are animated mesh which created frame by frame (e.g:frame 1 to 6 is sitting motion 6 to 12 is standing action or 12 to 15 is walking forward and 15 to 18 is walking backward).Is there any way when we load our mesh then tell directX use frame 1 to 6 or 15 to 18?if yes what is it name?(for searching in google and ...).Can u give me some sample codes also?(better be in C#) Thanks all
