When i kill a fullscreen window the taskbar tab is left there as a ghost until i click on it, then it disappear. I''m trying to find out what is causing this. It doesn''t happen with windowed windows and i''m not using directx. Any idea? thanks zedd

Does this *always* happen? It happens to me sometimes in Win98, but it''s not related to the applications whose taskbar buttons remain I dont think.. I''ve seen it happen with virtually every fullscreen game I''ve run, as well as to screensavers.

I don''t think it''s anything to worry about.

Yea it does it everytime i kill a fullscreen window, if i try to create/kill windows several times i end up with a bunch of ghost tabs in the taskbar.. Other apps like q3 (almost) never do this here.

I get this too from my code. I live with it - but if anyone finds a solution be sure to let me know. It looks a little unprofessional.

actually, I think this only happens in debug mode IIRC...
