I could use a little help with a suggestion for a good beginner book to MS Visual C++ for someone just getting into programming C++. The book does''t have to teach the language itself, but more of a guide to the program itself. Thanks

1. www.techbargains.com for a coupon for Amazon.com

2. www.amazon.com and get Sam''s Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days by Jesse Liberty.
I think free-ed has the same book "learn c++ in 21 days.

Thanks for the suggestions...but just to clarify, will this book also explain the ins and outs to the compiler itself? Sorry if I was a little vauge before.

(I purchsed Visual Studio as part of a deal my college has with Microsoft, just the C.D.was available...no manual was included.)
Nevermind previous post...went to free-ed.net (great site...thanks) This looks like what I need.
