I''m guessing it''s huge... But, having the entire SDK in my file drawer organized into topics and subtopics would be kind of cool :D

If you have a look at the SDK documentation, each of the sections is divided into sub-sections. The ''introduction '', ''understanding'' and ''using'' bits for each section are worth printing out. Reading these bits is a great way to learn a new part of DirectX.

However there''s no point in printing out the ''reference'' bit from each section (which is by far the largest bit), since it''s always a hundred times quicker to look stuff up using the HTML help.

So, taking DirectGraphics as an example, to print out the sections I mentioned (not including the reference bit) comes to about 450 pages. DirectAudio is about 230.

I printed out most of the DirectX 3 SDK, and believe you me, it''s a waste of time and paper. As previously stated, it will take you a LOT less time to look it up in the DX Docs.

Why is that? Because you have no index when you print it out. So you can''t just find the function you''re looking for, and find it on page 129. Instead you have to leaf through hundreds of pages to find it...

G''luck,
