Texture format:ZTNI?

When I open a D3D Game with Perhud,I find a Texture with the format ZTNI.Its usages is D3DUSAGE_DEPTHSTENCIL.And it really contains the depth information of the scene.It is used for DOF.But the game use a D3DFMT_D24S8 Texture for Shadown Map. In the PIX,I find the texture too.its format is "Unknown format",and its type is "D3D9 Texture". I want to know how can create a texture with the format ZTNI,and how can put the depth of the scene into the texture. And,what is ZNTI? I wait for the answer from a expert
