D3DX10CompileFromFile Doesnt return errors

Hello, I've recently started a new project in Visual Studio. I've made a new shader (the only one at the moment) but I found out that no matter what I write in the shader file it will never report any errors. I'm using the ID3D10Blob to check errors and hresult, I set the flags to: D3D10_SHADER_DEBUG D3D10_SHADER_ENABLE_STRICTNESS D3D10_SHADER_SKIP_OPTIMIZATION but it still doesn't fill out any error values. The only error that it shows is the file_not_found if I don't write the correct path to the shader file. The device does have the debug flag. Any suggestions what I should check?
