Hey guys. I am excited to release a beta version of my tetris spin off, QoobTris. In this game, you will be presented with a cube and will play an instance of tetris of 4 of the faces. The edges are the only connection between the 4 faces so you will have to play them wisely. In the beginning, you will warm up with a simple game of tetris and as you get better, you will progress and play more faces of the cube until you reach all 4. If you find the game to be too difficult, try turning on the gravity mode. The gravity mode assists the player by helping them fill up empty spaces by applying gravity to each block that makes up the active game piece. I have been working on this game for about a year now. I am sure there are several bugs left but as this is a beta release, I hope to catch most of those. There are 2 different versions of the installer. There is a "Lite" and "Full" version. The Full version comes with the DirectX 9.0c and .NET 2.0 runtimes. If you already have those, simply download the Lite version. Please let me know what you think, and enjoy! You can download QoobTris at the following URL. http://www.brandonfogerty.com/programming/projects/index.php Thanks! ps - I plan on releasing the full source code very soon once I make the game a little more stable. You can either check my website's blog for updates or check back here if you are interested.
