565 RGB image

Hi, I have an image I am receiving trough a memoy share file. I have the width and height and image is layout as RGB565. I am trying to create a texture out of it and the texture seems messy ::glGenTextures(1, &m_iTexture); ::glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_2D, m_iTexture); glTexImage2D (GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, GL_RGB, w, h, 0, GL_RGB, GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT_5_6_5, NULL); ::glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER, GL_LINEAR); ::glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MAG_FILTER, GL_LINEAR); ///render the rect....

Seems messy? What does that mean? Can you post a screenshot to see the effect?

If you mean it looks blurry, that is because of the linear filtering, try changing the filters to GL_NEAREST.
