I have been trying to find a good and simple way to take snapshots through a web cam. I have a wireless camera that has a receiver which outputs in composite. To use that I have a TV card to convert that to something more laptop compatible (USB). What I want to do is to take a snapshot once or twice every five minutes. Do you know of an efficient way to do this? I know DirectX / DirectShow can do this but it seems overly complicated for the simple task I am intending.
