[SlimDX] Plea for an example

Hello all, I've never used SlimDX at all, and the last time I used DirectX it was DX9 about 3 years ago, so suffice it to say I'm a little rusty. My interest is in the Compute Shaders and Direct2D. I've done a little playing around with CUDA so I'm familiar with the concepts of thread groups / shared memory, etc. Could someone be kind enough to post a couple of short examples to get me off the ground with the latest SlimDX release's implementation of these two APIs (Direct2D & Compute Shader)? They can be "mondo simple", like using Compute Shaders to square an array and send the result back to the cpu (for compute shaders), and drawing an alpha blended solid color square in a windows form client (for Direct2D). Nothing fancy, just something to get me to the point here the online help will take care of the rest. Thanks a lot, everyone! -L
