Problem I hope some one can help me with
This isnt really an OpenGL Problem but more of a DirectX one. I have been able to get most of my help off of this forum so i figured I would try my luck.
The Problem that when I try to use DirectShow and DirectSound. My group for school is wanting to show a video for our intro to the game. I am getting a linking error that is saying that a IDD varible is allready defined when i include the strmiids.lib file into my workspace. From what I have figured out is that the dsound.lib must define the same varible in it.
Does anyone know how I can fix this or know of a place where I can go to get some help on it?
Perhaps the ms team does not know how to use #ifndef''s. Heh, well, perhaps the problem is in the header file. Check the header file for direct sound and see if it defines the file. If so, put a ifndef endif in to cancel it out if it''s already defined. I may be wrong, but it''s worth a shot. This actually sounds more like a c++ error in general.

We figured out the problem late last night it had to deal with making sure that you #define INITGUID before you include any directx header files for your project.
