">video I really liked how surfaces are detailed.Its a bit overused on the ground which looks too rough but other than that it looks pretty nice.Lets hope it makes its way into games [smile] What do you think?

The amount of tris on the rocky road is awesome. Though the tree shadows on the grass seem like they were popping up. Just as I'm getting a hang of dx10 dx11 comes out :P

I can't be parallax mapping since the rocks can be seen in front of the other geometry, it can only be some kind of relief mapping with fin extrusion and skyhigh sampling rate, which I doubt, the rocks look too much "real" 3D, and that is the point of the tessallator
