I have a problem that I can''t figure out how to solve. I am drawing a square using a vertex buffer. But, when I go to render my scene, the only way I can see the square is if I include the following: D3DXMatrixRotationY(&matWorld, timeGetTime()/300.0f); Obviouslly that will rotate my square, but I don''t want it to rotate! How can I just make my square appear? Here is the code: D3DXMATRIX matWorld; D3DXMatrixRotationY(&matWorld, timeGetTime()/300.0f); gpDevice->SetTransform( D3DTS_WORLD, &matWorld); Thanks, Chris Lynch

I think that you haven´t set a world matrix.

Try D3DXSetIdentity()? (build an identity matrix) instead of D3DXMatrixRotationY().Then Set the identity matrix.

What the hells!
