Hello, is there any performance hit by having textures bound even when they aren't used? For example, if I bind 3 textures but my shader only samples from one, do the other 2 textures cause any perfomance impact? Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, yes. But only in the sense that the act of *binding* them incurs a performance hit. If you batch, etc. than there shouldn't be any slowdown.

Some cards also incur a performance hit to all texture samplers if *any* samplers are bound to a floating-point texture

I don't know in general of any perf hit to having textures bound but not used
