Hi, I'm the author of APIHijack from CodeProject/CodeGuru. Occasionally people email me with questions about hooking Direct3D and DirectInput applications. Quite some time ago I made a much better example of hooking these particular APIs but never posted the source code anywhere except my website. So, here's a direct link: http://wadeb.com/pshack.zip It demonstrates hooking individual Direct3D and DirectInput functions, without subclassing the entire device. The Direct3D part covers matching textures by checksum, overriding the Z projection for certain primitives (identified by texture checksum), and wireframe overlay. The DirectInput part covers enabling/disabling various features in response to keyboard inputs. Most queries have come from this website, so I figured this was the best place to post. Best regards, Wade
