A good Book to learn DirectX with SlimDX ?

I'm an old developper in C# and I want learn more on game programming. I think that SlimDX is a good solution (I prefers Directx that XNA). But I can't find good learning ressources. A good book in DirectX with C++ is a good idea ? this book : Introduction to 3D Game Programming with DirectX 10 from Franck Luna is a good solution ?

I'm learning Introduction to 3D game programming with directX 9.0c Shader Approach and rewriting the code directly into C# and SlimDX. I'm nearly at the end of the book and had no problems so far. The book seems perfect to me, because everything is well explained and source code is 100% working. There are some things, that you'll write differently in SlimDX, but most of them you'll figure out yourself or find in this forum.
