Device.Dispose hangs

It happens in an mdx game i'm writing. It happens only if i wait a minute or two since the program starts running. if I don't render anything it doesnt happen. what makes this problem even weirder is that i use the same rendring code in a diffrent program, and it runs just fine. has anyone encountered such a problem ? btw. i made sure i dispose of all mdx objects before i dispose of the device.
