New to Directx
Hi, everyone!
I wanna to get started to directx so is there any recommended book for freshman?
Thanks for all the suggestions!
Introduction to 3D Game Programming with Direct X 9.0c: A Shader Approach
This was the book I used and found it very useful. It teaches tha basics then goes on to tackle some games related topics, probably useful for this forum. It also has a section on 3D maths to help you understand wahts going on :p

I agree with DrYap on this one, that's the same book I used. Also if you want to learn DX10 instead of DX9 then there is a book by the same author written in a very similar way.
If you want to get more in depth with the math involved with 3D graphics then you can check out 3D Math Primer for Graphics and Game Development.
Then if you want to learn more about 3D graphics you can check out Real-Time Rendering 3rd Edition. It's a great book that covers basically the entire area of computer graphics with lots of cool graphics techniques. Although be warned that it doesn't have any code on how to do things, it just shows you the process, the math involved, etc. But if you read Intro to DX9 by Frank Luna then you should be able to figure out how to implement these techniques.
Good luck with your journey :D
