Lightwave support in character anim system?

Hi! I noticed that the character animation system only supports MD2 models and jointed animations keyframed in 3d Studio. Will there be support for jointed animations in Lightwave?

It should be easy enough to change the 3ds2anm program to load in LWS files instead of 3ds (see the lws2pro source).
