Setting Up SDL with devc++

well my main problem at the moment is I cant extract the mingw32 folder after downloading. Winzip wont recognise. What program can extract it?

Hi.

As far as I can tell, Dev-C++ hasn't been in active development since around 2005. There are newer IDE's and editors available that you will have a much better time working with.

Code blocks also ships with MinGW, if you are set on using that one.
