FSOUND_Sample_ sometimes fails
I'm trying to write a simple mp3 playback for my school project and sometimes when I have to change the media I stop the current one with
FSOUND_StopSound(0);
FSOUND_Sample_Free(sound);
call and again load the other mp3 file with
sound = FSOUND_Sample_Load(0, new_media.c_str(),0, 0, 0);
FSOUND_PlaySound(0, sound);
sometimes (totally random) it doesn't play the sound. I thought it could be about the channel is still in use but the FSOUND_PlaySound function returns a legal channel handle.. any ideas?
