FSAA and DirectDraw7

I was wondering if I could do FSAA with DD7 by doing what the video cards do. I''d create a 1024x768 surface, render to that, and then blit it to the backbuffer (of 640x480), and flip. During the blit, wouldn''t DirectDraw scale and anti-ailas it for me? I _know_ it would scale it, but would it anti-alias? Is there a flag I could set like DDBLT_ANTIALIAS? Thanks Sponge99
