Hi Chris, I just wanted to ask you if you have tried to use the vertex shaders on an elsa geforce 3 ? I actually tried the demo of the cartoon rederer, the compiled version and also the cartoon pro file in pro edit with vertex shader and here are the results on my system : - Cartoon redering craches the app and gets back to desktop without anymore information. - ProEdit makes the client viewport passes from red to yellow to green at a high frame rate... Any info ? Amadrias France

I am using a reference board that I purchased directly from Nvidia.

Which driver version are you using? There were some bugs in the shader management code that could have caused crashing. You might want to try it on the latest beta (8!) to make sure it still doesn''t work.

I had that problem on win''98(not only GF3) with same drivers version 2 weeks ago. I fixed it by reinstalling win''98

I do not see any relation between directx vertex shaders and the fact to reinstall windows 98.

Maybe reinstalling directx sorts out the problem...
I''ll give a try.

By the way I have Windows Me.
