Query Interface Failed?

Hmm... can you be more specific ?
Have you been able to compile the examples that come with PR first?
If you cant compile any of them, and all you get is this error, perhaps your 3d card is not working properly, but this is a wild guess only. However it may help if you specify.
3d card being used.
PR version being used.
Compiler being used. include version.
API being used (direct 3d, glide, open gl?)
Exactly in what line do you get that error?

If your example files work and your own dont, use the example files detect and setup code section instead of your own, it is that simple and thats mostly what code examples are for.

Thanks for the Info, but I have no problem running it on my PC at home, only when I have sent it to someone else.

Anyone know what throws the above message up, and how to work around it?
It is probably on a pretty limited D3D Card.

"QueryInterface failed" means that the system couldn't find the DirectX COM object needed.

Make sure they're running the same version of DX as you are.
