Well my problem is i have a set of customers with allotted time to work on a machine like: 7,11,3,4,14---(this is the time each customer needs to use the machine) and the machine time slot is 7--(this is the time which is alotted to each customer by the machine).. the customer who has the minimum usage time will be assigned first and then the next customer follows.. how do i calculate the order in which the customer uses till all the customers finish using their allotted time on the machine ?? Can i implement this in java using a queue??? I can understand the Round Robin algorithm with simple examples but this one is confusing me as i get the answers wrongly.. Any help on how to calculate the process allocation??
