problem using FBOs?

Are they part of the core now, because I tried to use glGenFramebuffers, glGenFramebuffersARB, glGenFramebuffersEXT and I get the same error: "identifier not found"? I'm using GLEW_VERSION_2_0 and I can use VBOs just fine. Does my graphics card not support FBOs? Is there some initialization I need to do other than glewInit()? -Edit- Okay. So I looked at the 3.0 specifications and it turned out that it became core for 3.0. But isn't still possible for me to use the ARB or EXT versions of it?
