The easiest way to add flares to objects is to use the swapseg and makespr utilities.

First use makespr to generate a .PRO file with a single flare in it.

Then make a sphere object in your modeler wherever you want to put a flare, and use swapseg to replace each one with the flare .PRO file.

In the end you'll have a single .PRO file with flare sprites attached and you're program doesn't have to handle anything special to draw the flares.

Any other sites/places besides the ones mentioned that have tutorials on HUDS/FX for Power Render, like the game Survival made with PR? What is the best/easiest way to load flares with objects, like running lights? Can this be accomplished with a modeling program?

Joystick code/mouse/cd code yada yada ...

Thanks

Shawn
