Hello! I'm a webdesigner, mainly programming with Actionscript 3, I have some basic experience with Java. I once wrote a simple flight simulator in 3D, it was a good start for me to get in touch with physics, math, etc. I'm now looking for some books to learn more about game programming. I really want to learn the basic concepts: networking (TCP and UDP), AI, Terrain generation, etc. The problem is, there aren't any good books for Actionscript. I'm looking for books that concentrate on explaining the core concepts, and not getting lost in the details of Java, Java3D, C++, whatever. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks and happy Christmas! Chris
