Exposure Fusion example?

Hello, I want to do 'Exposure Fusion' a la the Debevec 97 paper but I get stuck trying to decipher the formulas in it. I have a series of 6 linear images, 6 different exposures with 2 stops spacing, converted from the raw files into linear tiffs. Could anyone explain in a simple way how to merge these into one floating point HDR image suitable to save out as an exr? Or does anyone know of a clear pseudo code example? I would like the result to be the same as when using Photoshops HDR merge. cheers fred
