Any tips on getting multiple artists' work to mesh together? I'm just now starting a game project (2D) and a friend of mine is helping me out on the art side of it. We are both decent artist but when combining our character designs its almost as if we are taking characters from different games and trying to make them work together. ie like if you took characters from Street Fighter and put them up against a Mortal Kombat character. We kinda saw this forcomming and even tried to create our characters on a similar scale, however its still evident in our finished products. Any tips or tricks in getting this to work?

Have one person do the lineart for all the characters and the other person do all the coloring, or some division of labor like that. style mis-matches are much harder to see if the two artists aren't making exactly the same type of art asset.

Well if one does characters and the other does everything else the difference might not be so obvious. Or do what the guy above me said.
