3D (as in 3D TV) graphics

Is anyone coding 3D games at the moment? I mean in the sense of special glasses 3D TV. I have an application (not a game, but similar in many ways) which could look great in 3D, but I don't now where to start finding out what is involved. I guess the basic technique would be to render the same "ordinary" 3D image twice, from slightly different points of view. Presumably you would need some kind of video driver which supports two frame buffers? If anybody has any pointers to more sources of info I would appreciate it.

Nvidia's 3D vision drivers adapt most DirectX based games to be used with the glasses (and 120hz capable monitor), and apparently gives pretty good results.

You could display every other frame as the other view point, but i dunno how well that would work with a variable framerate.
Roger that, lets run like hell!
