the logic should run at an interval on 1 second which means most shared hosts won't support.
The good "cheap" solution is to start it locally and send results every one second to update the server until there is enough money to get a dedicated server.

Server Programming?
I was just going to suggest that you didn't need a server and that when a user requests to "get" data, the php code would do an update of the "logic" for the number of seconds since the last update.
But my server (fitpc) is on my bookshelf, so I don't have to worry about someone killing my daemon processes.
