Screen to Texture

I am not sure does this work, but I can give you an idea how to proceed with this.

well most simply thing could be that you just give viewport pointer to texturepointer and make definitions about how big that area of viewport is.

If you want to use little area from viewport as texture, then just use that viewportpointer and make own copy routine. and remember to allocate enough memory for texturepointer. it shouldnt be so hard . I hope I did help in someway.
