Python Kd tree Help?

Recommended Posts

Ive been looking at Kd-trees, and want to get all the points and there coordiates within a certain distance of a given location. Ive done some searching on the internet and have found some functions that i think will do what im after.. The code can be found here http://scipy.org/Cookbook/KDTree the function that i think will do the task is def radius_search(tree, datapoint, radius): Im haveing trouble trying to use it can someone give me an idea of where to start with it?

Umm... for 'tree' you pass the tree that you're working with, for 'datapoint' you pass the "certain location" you're talking about, and for 'radius' you pass the "certain distance" you're talking about. What's the problem?
