[ASM] JMP Instruction

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm fairly new to assembly and I am trying to understand the JMP instruction. When I assemble my code, I get my binary which looks like this: E9 F9 FE E9 is obviously the JMP instruction, and the fact that it's two bytes tells me that it's a 16 bit relative near jump. However, I'm not sure how F9 FE converts to a relative number.
